James D. Casey IV is the author of seven full-length collections of poetry: Metaphorically Esoteric, Dark Days Inside the Light While Drunk on Wine, Tin Foil Hats & Hadacol Coins, Owls in Hot Rods with Pink Elephants and Dead Bats, Isomorphic, Death & Love/Love & Death, and Unwritten Words That Slide Down The Wall. Mr. Casey is also the founder and editor-in-chief of Cajun Mutt Press.
James is a southern poet with roots in Louisiana & Mississippi, currently residing in Illinois with his Beautiful Muse, their retarded dog, and two black cats. James’s poetry touches on a wide range of topics such as personal experiences, love, hate, religion, sex, politics, dreams, addiction, and parallel dimensions.
David Estringel is a reader / writer /poet / bibliophile and Writing Studies teaching assistant at the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley, located in Brownsville, Texas (USA). He received his BA in English in 1992 from the University of Texas at Brownsville and will receive his MAIS in English (concentration in Literature & Cultural Studies) Summer 2020. He will also receive his MFA in Creative Writing in May 2020. Future plans include a lot of writing and publishing more his poetry and short-stories, teaching college literature and creative writing, reading all the books in his library (1310 and counting), and publishing his second book of poetry.
